CLAVIS, in cooperation with Kirkernes Integrations Tjeneste, Church Integration Ministries, now offers Danish language training programs designed particularly for Au Pairs  from Phillippines residing in Denmark.  

Classes of small groups and English as the language of instruction at the beginner's level will make you speed up your learning process. Later on, Danish will gradually become the language of instruction.  

Participants will be placed in a class corresponding with their Danish level. There are a total of six levels. Each level will be completed with a test. The courses focus on essential aspects of everyday spoken Danish, such as:

• Everyday situations: child care/babysitting, cooking, laundry, shopping, light housekeeping
• Living and working in Denmark: public transport, bank, library
• Social life: going out, sports events, small talk
• Introduction to Danish traditions through short novels and stories   

Payment

Free tuition for holders of a Danish residence permit and a Danish CPR-number. Some municipalities may charge you an administrative fee 500-1000 DKK, which is normally paid by host families.  

Time and place

The courses will be held in our school in Copenhagen 2 times a week Thirsday and Thursday from 10.00 til 13.30. on the following address: Nørre Voldgade  96, 5 th, 1358 K (very close to Nørreport station). It´ s also possible to have evening classes on Tuesday and  Thursday. The class can start, if there are 10-12 pupils in the class.
