CLAVIS, in cooperation with Kirkernes Integrations Tjeneste, Church Integration Ministries, now offers Danish language training programs designed particularly for Au Pairs residing in Denmark.

Classes of small groups and English as the language of instruction at the beginner's level will make you speed up your learning process. Later on, Danish will gradually become the language of instruction.

Participants will be placed in a class corresponding with their Danish level. Au pairs have the right to two modules of a total of six modules. Each module will be completed with a test. The courses focus on essential aspects of everyday spoken Danish, such as:

• Everyday situations: child care/babysitting, cooking, laundry, shopping, light housekeeping
• Living and working in Denmark: public transport, bank, library
• Social life: going out, sports events, small talk
• Introduction to Danish traditions through short novels and stories 

Payment

Free tuition for holders of a Danish residence permit and a Danish CPR-number. 

Time and place

Courses are given in our premises in central Copenhagen, close to Nørreport train, bus and metro station. Classes are given twice a week.

From August 5th sign up interviews are held at the following times:

Tuesdays:  from 14:00 to 17.30
Thursdays: from 11:00 to 13:00 and from 16.30 to 18.30
